Shiseido Asia Pacific was established in Singapore as headquarters for the region in January 2016. With Asia’s massive growth potential and Singapore’s strategic location close to key Asian markets, this has enabled Shiseido to garner deeper Asian consumer insights, localize marketing and most importantly quickly cultivate and deliver brands that Asian customers know and love through decision-making and execution.

As part of its commitment to accelerate multi-brand growth in the travel retail channel, Shiseido Group has divided the world into six regional entities under its Vision 2020 corporate plan, with Travel Retail recognised as a territory in its own right.

Shiseido Travel Retail, effective 1 May 2016, is headquartered in Singapore and will take a “Think Global, Act Local” approach in cultivating each brand based on region and market-specific needs, while also accelerating decision-making and production development. The company’s portfolio includes skincare brands Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, Anessa and Aupres; make-up brands NARS and bareMinerals; and fragrance brands Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Elie Saab, Alaïa Paris, Dolce & Gabbana, and Zadig & Voltaire, as well as niche fragrance Serge Lutens and Burberry via a distribution agreement in selected travel retail markets in Europe and Asia Pacific.
